Tim & Fudge's Big Adventure Well.. We ACTAUALLY MADE IT!!! AAAAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!

Rolled into Ulaan Bataar yesterday at about 5pm after driving the last 50 miles or so on a broken back right leaf spring (suspension) which meant we were grinding along & getting battered by every bump in the road, which as the last 50 miles were a massive diversion across dirt roads with huge ditches & banks meant I was getting thrown all around the place in the back!!!

We camped with Jack Osbourne & his crew the night before last.. We built a camp fire & passed vodka around.. They were doing loads of filming as they'd broken down there & one of their guys was battering the hell out of the car with our hand-axe!!! Somehow I kept on ending up in the shots so look out on the series & you'll probably see me in there a couple of times!! I think they filmed me talking to him too so you never know!! We were actually the next car in line to him in Hyde Park too so we'll probably be at the beginning & the very end of their series (: He's actually a really chilled out guy & his crew are wicked.. One of them is a guy called Tommy who we worked out we have a mutual friend.. Stu (skater) from Harrow!!

I got sick the morning after this, can't believe it happened on the last bloody day!! So spent the day huddled in the back of the Jeep.. The last 50 miles was horrible with the noise from the wheel rubbing against the wheel arch & getting smacked around by every bump.. But when we came over the hill & saw Ulaan Bataar our spirits just rose & we limped our way (comedy.. in fact, couldn't have been a more fitting end to the Fruit Machine's journey!!!) to the finish line at Dave's Bar on the Square to a hero's welcome!! Big cheer from a crowd of Ralliers & locals there followed by Dave bringing us a pint of Ale & official photos etc.. Totally put it all back into perspective after the past few weeks travelling with the same group of people & just being overwhelmed by the things we were seeing & the people we were meeting!!! Incredible feeling to have achieved this.. & a huge achievement just to have got the Fruit Machine across the finish line!! Loads of cars were carried there on flat-bed lorries & loads just didn't make it at all!! So far only around 70 odd Teams have made it back out of 200 so it's really quite amazing that us 2 idiots did it!!! We'd been getting abit shitty with each other at moments the past week or so.. It was bound to happen I guess but it will all be ok (:

So now I'm sat in Ulaan Bataar airport, we're flying back with 'Man-U' & Joya's coming with us too which is cool as we've all been convoying together.. Left the Kiwi's there as they're going on to Prague for a couple of days as they don't have to go straight back to work!! Jammy bastards!! (We're defo gonna see them boys again tho, they're awesome!! Thinking of maybe doing the London to Sydney Rally with them in 2009).. It's a 17 hour flight back via Soul in Korea.. So far flight's been delayed for 3 hours this end so we've all been off & bought the compulsary bottle of 'Chingis Khan' Premium stoopit-strength Vodka from duty free (: we WILL be getting trollied on that with the boyos back home...

Can't believe we're coming home, it all seems very surreal at the moment & I still can't even believe it's over & we made it.. Let alone the fact that I'm goin to be back in work & back to the routine of my life.. But there we are, I guess that's the way these things go..

So it's home James (: Katie the Wonder-Girl is gonna pick us up from the Airport & drive us back.. She is a star & helped us out loads at the start of the Rally too!! Well.. I better sign off now as our flight is about to leave..

Back to reality!! (also got to work out how I'm gonna pay for this internet session as it's $1 per 15 mins.. I only have $1 dollar & I've been here for about quarter of an hour now!!! Whoopsy!!!!!)

Loads love from Tim & Fudge.. 2 guys who just proved to themselves & everyone else that they are fully-functioning, resourcefull, charismatic, friendly, lucky & now far more Worldly & Wise blokes that just did something incredible (:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Will upload some more photo's when we get home (:
